Cada semana una nueva noticia envuelve a la muerte de Kobe Bryant. Después de que su viuda, Vanessa Bryant, demandara a la compañía de helicópteros, una nueva polémica sobre el caso ha visto la luz.

A través de una carta de sus abogados, la esposa del deportista ha expresado su absoluto rechazo y dolor por la publicación innecesaria e indebida de unas fotos que muestran el lugar del accidente donde fallecieron su marido y su hija Gianna Bryant.

Las imágenes habían sido supuestamente tomadas por un agente de policía del Condado de Los Ángeles. Según indica Gary Robb, abogado de la familia Bryant, Vanessa acudió a la oficina del Sheriff el pasado 26 de enero, día del accidente, para pedir que la zona fuera declarada como espacio prohibido para volar y fotografiar.

This is an unspeakable violation of human decency, respect, and of the privacy rights of the victims and their families. We are demanding that those responsible for these alleged actions face the harshest possible discipline, and that their identities be brought to light, to ensure that the photos are not further disseminated. Tal y como explica este comunicado “esto era de vital importancia para ella ya que deseaba proteger la dignidad de todas las víctimas y sus familias”. Sin embargo, no fue posible y alguien se saltó las reglas.

A través de este fuerte escrito se solicita que los responsables de estas terribles acciones salgan a la luz para que se tomen las medidas necesarias por esta “violación de la decencia humana”.

Kobe y su hija eran despedidos en un emotivo homenaje el pasado 24 de febrero junto a sus familiares y amigos en el Staples Center que recordaron los momentos más especiales en las vidas de padre e hija. Un momento conmovedor que desafortunadamente se ha visto empañado por este triste capítulo.
